Northwest Missouri State capped its stay in Hawaii with a dominant second half to beat Lindenwood-Belleville 67-52.

The Bearcats (6-5) finished 1-1 in the Malika Sports Christmas Classic in Honolulu, Hawaii their non-conference schedule.

The Lynx managed to grab a four-point lead at the end of the first quarter, but the Bearcats battled back in the second period. Mia Stillman hit a three-pointer with :27 remaining in the first half to put Northwest in front.

Lindenwood-Belleville tied it up at 43-apiece late in the third quarter, but from that point, Kendey Eaton and Northwest took over.

The 'Cats posted a 15-0 run to end the third and start the fourth quarter. At one time during that stretch, Eaton scored nine consecutive points by herself.

The senior from Mound City, MO led all scorers with 22 points, and she paced her team with five rebounds.

Northwest shot 38-percent from the field in the first half, but turned it around after halftime to shoot 50-percent (13-26) in the third and fourth quarters combined.

Stillman finished with 11 points, three steals and two assists. Jaelyn Haggard added six points and six assists in the win.

Northwest is off through the holidays and will return to action January 4 at home against Northeastern State.
